CoN Accountability Site Hacking Leads to More Questions

After being offline for more than a week, the ChurchofNigeria.org site is back under a new address after being the victim of a well planned cyber attack from operatives based in the FCT. Described by IT engineers as a “tactical and professional attack”, one must ask why? Why would such an attack even be necessary? Who would have the resources to order and fund such work? Why silence those who are seeking to bring darkness to light and call for truth to prevail? Apparently, the information contained on this site is upsetting some very powerful people. We believe that accountability must be of paramount importance for the church today. So we will continue our work, respond to errors and abuses, and call for the Church and her leaders to do what it can to represent the Lord in a Christ honouring way.
